Julia Lafferty, partner at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, and a director of employee benefit plan and not-for-profit services, will serve as a panelist at the 2023 Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) Employee Benefit Plans Conference. The “Ask the Experts” panel, which will run on Wednesday, May 3 from 3:15 to 4:30 pm EST, will feature Lafferty and two other panelists for the second consecutive year; this will also be her second consecutive year serving as conference co-chair.
In addition to her involvement with the employee benefit plans conference, Lafferty serves as an executive committee member of GWSCPA and previously served as chair of GWSCPA’s annual nonprofit symposium, one of the society’s largest annual events.
The GWSCPA employee benefit plans conference will be a virtual event scheduled for May 2 and 3 this year.
